c. 165 × 125 mm, ruled in leadpoint for two columns of 47 lines, written below top line in typical Pearlschrift, with capitals stroked in red, the text on the visible side comprising I Peter 3:20 – II Peter 1:9, II Peter introduced by a rubric “incipit epistola Petri ij” and a fine-line historiated initial depicting St Peter, half length, holding a book, standing in front of the curve of the initial ‘S’(imon Petrus), the palette predominantly rose, orange, and blue, with touches of green, and small pieces of unburnished gold leaf, chapters with two-line initials alternately red or blue, with penwork in the other colour, and cascading ornament in both colours; one marginal hole, not affecting the text or decoration.
