Vol 3: [4],544,[4]pp. Half-titles. 38 engraved plates including the ‘Presentation in the Temple’ engraving which is only present in later editions of this, the most lavish of Dibdin’s self-published publications. Profusely illustrated throughout with woodcuts in black, red and blue, some plates are laid down, specimens of type and engraved portraits. Full original calf, gilt decorated compartments to spines with green labels. Sometime rebacked with original spines relaid over leather. Some early foxing in Volume 2 otherwise a near fine set in original condition
