Three parts in 2 volumes. Pagination continuous across the two volumes. [2], xiv, [18],207, [2], 211-408pp. Bound in contemporary red morocco, richly decorated in gilt to all boards and to spines with gilt lettering. Small discreet white letter on spine. Marbled endpapers. The front free endpaper of volume I. has a small crease to top and faint ink stamp to reverse and there is a name to top of volume II. (some offsetting to front free endpaper). Two leaves of volume I. are gently detaching and are thus hint frayed to edges. One folding plate has large loss and is tatty to edges. Scattered foxing and little offsetting with some light dustiness. Occasional mark and crease, else in very readable and firm condition.
